Strange but TRUE!!! Who Wants to be a Millionaire asked a question about Double Dutch Empire on national television and the contestant won $3,000 because she answered correctly!
Being featured on this show and other recent press coverage has been incredible but the media clings to an idea that I charge a large amount of money for jump rope classes. This is not true. Double Dutch Empire performs! We entertain and engage attendees at events by teaching double dutch jump rope in party/event/large scale settings. Very, very different from a structured fitness or instructional class. We’re kind of like a band with a rotating lineup and a weakness for boozy parties. Or maybe we’re more like a confetti cannon at a Prince show. Or a sky full of hot air balloons. Or a rollerskating party on the moon. Or a dance battle between LeBron and Shaq. (seriously, click here.) Point is, we show up with ropes and get folks laughing and jumping. It’s fun. Try it.
Double Dutch Empire’s concept is simple but unfamiliar and there is room for interpretation. But seriously, if you or someone you know will pay $1,000 for a one hour double dutch class, PLEASE CALL ME!! I swear I’m worth it.
